They are hard to see. Normally they don't open up until late afternoon / early evening... when they finally emerge from their trailers.
-
I'll grab 'em.
-
Depends what they are made of. Prolypropylene (PP symbol) is the safest as it is guaranteed to be food-grade safe. HDPE, while typically food-grade isn't as resilient as PP. Look on the bottom of the container (usually) to see what it is made of. By law it must be labeled.

Favor the round ones to the square ones as they distribute the force of water better.

Yup. The answered my questions.

If we do a group order, I'm in on a few items.
-
I'm going to ping them again directly. If I don't get a timely response, by all means go on without me. I'll find my stuff elsewhere.
-
And the vultures start circling...
-
Still waiting on them to respond to my queries.

Viet-tin, Reef2Go is checking on some items for me. I may by up for a group order from them. I should know soon.

I think our new sponsor, Reef2Go, has chili corals IIRC.

Similar. I don't have anything in the fraggable size range, but if you want to clear some out I'll take a piece.

It will settle. It's physics. The big stuff will get on top and all the small stuff on bottom.

Until everything looks healthy and then a few more days. I don't think running that stuff longer would have an ill effect at all.
-
Having stuff too close to the glass is a newbie mistake I made. Now I have a thick bit of coraline algae obscuring part of my scape because of it. I don't have the energy to redo it, though.

Am I reading that you can chop off the "hands" with ill effect?

Who doesn't like a good sharing of flesh?
It would be an interesting experiment for someone to totally encapsulate a connected stalk of euphyllia to prevent it from getting any light and feed adjacent stalks that are still connected with flesh to see if it continues to thrive in a completely dark environment. And probably research grant worthy.

Glass tank, but the back wall is textured plastic. (It's the back wall of the Solana.)
Methinks me needs some rubble.

Howdy. I have blue Xenia on my back wall and it has been spreading nicely. However, I foresee me having to manage it to prevent its spread beyond a certain point. Right now, the feet were seeded on a rock and now have spread to the back wall in several directions. What is the preferred or tried-and-true method for pruning expanding Xenia? Thanks.

I'm going to pass on this round. I've decided to hold off until I get me 'nem in my tank before adding more things.

If they look good in your photo program, be sure to convert your pictures to the sRGB color space before uploading them to websites. That's what is used for web-viewing.

+1 Gonzo. It's harmless. Most (all?) white ones are harmless. If you find reds or browns, that's a problem.

I will, but will likely wait until the last minute to order.
