Here is what is available. I take great care of my books and only one (Sprung's Invertebrates) has any damage. I spilled a cup of water on it and the pages have those wonderful wrinkles, but it is still very readable, hence the price for it.

  3. I have a Kent RO/DI Maxxima 4-Stage with Clear Filters. It produces 35 GPD and comes with a pressure gauge, inline dual TDS meter, Kent Marine Flush Valve Kit, and a garden hose adaptor (which I used only to direct waste water to plants, etc.) I used a saddle piercing valve to tie directly into my hot water heater feed line.

This package also includes the (2) 35 gallon plastic storage containers. I used one for Fresh and mixed salt in the other, but you can use however you want. I have a powerhead in the salt water that ran all the time to keep it mixed well. It also includes the metal stand you see the two containers sitting on. This is a very nice package and produced a lot of pure water for me. It hasn't been run in about 6 months so you might want new filters or to at least keep an eye on the TDS meter to see if they need replacing. All this can be yours for $375. This is a phenomanal setup.

I do accept Paypal. Please call me at 512.635.6925 if you are interested. I will be out and about some this morning. Located in Georgetown.

  4. Does this include any kind of PH controller?

Just FYI....If someone uses paypal and they select personal and then send it as a gift paypal waves the 3% fee.

No, I sold the PH Controller a year ago because I was using the Neptune Aquacontroller to run it.

I know that on Paypal, but I have found a lot say they know it and then don't do it and it can add up on several large sales (or purchases).

Let me know if you have any other questions on the unit.

  5. Both were just taken down this morning and work great. Tank has a couple of minor scratches but in great shape. NO stand included. The stand had a defect but I didn't want to take down my whole setup. I will NOT include with sale because I don't want someone else to use it.

24" Current Outer Orbit 150 HQI x (2) 65 Watt PC Fixture, moon lights, with legs - $200 [Needs new bulbs but works great, very clean]

  6. I agree with shop vacing the sump, but you might look into these pumps they sell at Lowe's or Ace. They pump the water out to less than 1/4 inch (I usually would get completely empty) and you can put a hose connection to the pump. Here is a link: http://www.amazon.com/Attwood-Power-Water-...e/dp/B0000AXSI9

Then the only thing you have to shop vac is the left over detritus.

    Looking good.

You putting the chiller in the same room or running to different location?

  7. I always use flexspa whenever possible as it reduces turns and gives me play (particularly with a chiller!) I love that it can still be glued. What size connections on chiller?

Since we almost always way overpower our closed loop pumps and return pumps I think you are going to be just fine on the turns and bends. The best thing is that you have kept it open enough that any maintenance issues will be easy to address.

I am guess the OM is powered? I have never used one so I don't know if they can run dry. If not, I would have the pump and OM on the same switch to make sure you don't turn off the pump and not the OM. Not sure if it really matters, but just something I thought of.

Did you put a "T" on the closed loop drain so you can automate water changes? I have always thought that would be a good idea but I have not had a closed loop yet. Just something to think about.

  8. Love the magnet idea. That sounds like it will look very nice!! I can understand on the plumbing costs. So many people forget how much plumbing can cost!!

Thanks guys I'm glad you like.

Lee- Ace will be skinning out the stand. As of now the plan is to join Pine so that the grain is going up and down and stain it ebony. There will be four panels identical to each other 30" wide and I'll have magnets on the back side so there are no screws and I can remove the panels quickly for maintenance. That will be down the road though, I need to recover from the plumbing cost first. :)
