If I allow any coraline to make contact with air then it will turn that orange color about a day later. Then it turns white and dies off. I noticed this when I epoxied a coral overtop of some coraline. A day or so later, the coral was knocked down and I had a bright orange patch left behind. mhart032 Posted December 1, 2009 Share Posted December 1, 2009 I get orange sometimes, i get pink sometimes too. it always seems to be when i move rocks around and its been hidden it will be orange or pink, i wish it would stay but it does not.
