I have been working on this tank for a couple of months and thought I would post some of my progress.

The tank was bought used. It was drilled with 5 holes in the back. 2 overflow, 3 return

I built the stand wit 2x4 and wrapped it with hickory

The sump is built from a 40g breeder it has 3 sections with the return in the middle

I put in bubble traps for the overflow lines

1 overflow is feeding the sump(splits into 2-1 1/2" pipes with ball valves to control the flow), the other is used for a closed loop

The left compartment in the sump is for the skimmer (Octopus nwb 150), the right is the fuge, middle is return, I am going to use a mag 12 return pump the rio that you see was too strong for the overflow

Looks nice. Do you have other flow than the Mag12?

Thanks, I also have a closed loop run by a Iwaki 40rlxt.

Coming along really nice. I like the caves you created....it will look awesome when things start to filling and course you'll have fun adding more corals happy.gif.
