Lots of trading and meetings and people willing to step in when a tank catastrophically fails. Are there ever "open houses" or something for other reefers to come by and see tanks? We'd love to just meet and chat with people next to their tanks. We're still working on our little 29 gal biocube and would love to be able to pick some brains. And just some random stuff about us... We have a microscope/camera combo and we are taking pictures of the really tiny stuff in our tank. When we get a few more pics, we'll create a gallery. Mark is fabulous at electronics and building anything. I'm a chemist. We're more than willing to trade our skills for anybody here. Thanks! mFrame Posted September 27, 2009 Share Posted September 27, 2009 Welcome, you'll love the board here! As for "open houses", the best way to see and be seen is to watch the frag sell/trade forum. Picking up and trading frags gives you a great opportunity to drive to someone's house, meet them, and see their setup. Everyone on here is super friendly.
