RO/DI Unit not producing water unless booster pump is on.

Last weekend I replaced all the filters and resin. Afterwards it wouldn't produce any water unless the booster pump is on.  Without the pump it shows about 40# of pressure which prior to changing I would get a slow stream of water.  Any ideas?  I checked to make sure there were no kinked hoses.

if it runs in bypass  it is not the valve or the prefilter canisters  either the RO membrane or the final DI canister is in backwards preventing flow thru it to the final water.  I'd check that first  there will be arrows or should be on the canister.
