Bpb Posted June 21, 2016 Share Posted June 21, 2016 Need to pick up a second PH probe to run the calcium reactor. Both the BRS and Neptune lab grade probes sport the same price tag. BRS really has done well at informing, hyping, and selling their lab grade probes as the best in this class. Anyone have any input on those vs the same priced Neptune probe? I find that in general the BRS lab grade probe drifts more. I'm sure each probe is a little different and being in a CaRX may have an affect on it, but that's my $0.02. jestep Posted June 21, 2016 Share Posted June 21, 2016 Do you guys feel the increased precision is necessary for CaRX? I swear I hardly even look at the ph in my reactor anymore. I have tried generic and BRS and neptune normal PH probes and it's definitely worth the cost for the name brand ones. I used to think the $15 ebay ones were fine but they don't last super long and need much more frequent calibration to stay in range. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Juiceman Posted June 21, 2016 Share Posted June 21, 2016 I've had the same probe that came with my apex since I got it. I bought a BRS one for my CaRX when it was installed.
