What happened to all the fw stuff? Back to the lfs?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I downsized to a 75g. Was trying to get everything switch as quickly as possible and I didn't take the time to document it. Once my algae outbreak is cleared up I'll post some pics.

Today I moved the bio block into the cube and moved two rocks from the cube into the big tank along with a large bottle of bio spira. I have a large plastic bag from an LFS and fill it at least half full with cube water and moved the clowns. They've been in about an hour now and seem pretty content. They're loving swimming into the strong current of the return outlets.

Got lots done today!!! Corals and rock are moved. Ice Cap has been installed and programmed and the gyre is purring along! dribble.gif Got my 29g QT set up. It's got a Penguin 350 bio-wheel filter on it. I filled the cartridge filter areas with rubble from the cube sump. Most of the corals seem very happy and are already opened. I'll try to get some pics later. Skimmer has been running about 24 hrs to break it in. Next thing I need to finish is the new cabinet for the apex and get the cube cleaned up.

Everything has settled in nicely. Corals are really looking happy. I picked up a purple firefish and some blue green chromis which are in the QT and doing great. All have been eating well.

Here's a few pics of the corals I had and some I picked up this weekend.

Quick video update. I got my Aqua SD order in today. Will get some pics once everything has settled in. Anyone know how to convert the video file type? I've searched but always come up with "free" programs that try to install other crap. I can't upload HD videos using the .mvi format.

First off, great video! Tank is looking good so far!

Two questions:

1) Is that ARC open in the background in the computer?

2) Are you pushing the camera along on a chair with wheels?

Thanks! Yes it is...what else would I be looking at.

I had the camera on the tripod with the leg retracted and sitting in my desk chair.

Almost done!!!! I bought two cabinets from Ikea and some pre-cut 6"x24" pieces of wood and attached to the back. The top cabinet will house all the different apex modules and the bottom will have the EB-8s and transformers for the Radions. UGHHHHH...I can't figure out how to rotate and save the pics in the new media viewer in Win 10...it was a snap with the old version.

After this I'm done!!!!! :-) Last chore is untangling the mess I've got on the floor...it looks like a pile of black spaghetti...

I can only imagine how bad that jumble must be I thought my nano had a bad jumble of wires and all I had was two pumps, a skimmer, heater, and prime.

It looks something about like this...I sold my old cabinet so had to get everything out with no where to put it.

That looks about like the wire mess beside my tank right now. I like the idea of using a cabinet for wire management, I may steal that and do something similar for wire management under my tank. It wont look as nice as yours though!

Hey, it's easy to make it look good. Just buy the pieces and paint the wood and screw it to the back. I wanted to keep it as simple as possible since I'm in an apartment...didn't want to have to drag out all the tools to cut anything.

I think I'm finally done!!!

This is why I overflowed the skimmer...the EB that the return pump was plugged into was unplugged so I could mount it...since apex couldn't see the EB it didn't know to turn the skimmer off...

I decided not to mount the radion ps in the cabinet since they didn't have to be plugged in to an EB. So I just attached them to a board and leaned it against the wall on the other side of the tank.

UGH!!!! anyone know how to rotate pic in Win 10?

You do it the same way as 7 but I don't think windows is the problem because I have pictures show up right side up on iPads and computers then get uploaded sideways or upside down.
