julespinkyd
I am looking to simplify my water changes. If anyone has a mixing setup send me a PM with a pic and what you are asking for it. Thanks
Timfish
Are you talking about just a barrel for mixing water or a secondary tank like an ATO but for premixing salwater AND pumping it into your system so all you have todo is turn valves? For just a mixing sation I'd get used 55 gallon "syrup" barrels from a homebrew place and rinse it well, no need to bleach it. Then use a small pump for stirring, If you are talking about plmping it into your system so you do not have to carry the water I would strongly advise against using float valves as they will fail sooner or later. mFrame
I built a water change station (thread here). It's actually no longer large enough to handle my water changes since I upgraded to my 230g. PM me if you're interested in purchasing it.
julespinkyd
Thanks guys... A buddy is going to help me build one. I am looking at using valves and having it connect to the plumbing that is going from my garage into my living room via attic and interior walls.
