+dapettit
I just got the Hanna checker. I have used the tester twice. Today I tried to test and I keep get Inv error. Meaning the checker thinks I'm inserting the Cuvette upside down. I tried both that came with tester. Has any one experience this problem Thanks in advance, Dave-
victoly
That's not what Inv means. It means that the C.1 sample was darker than the C.2. sample. Are you putting in a clean cutette first, (c.1.), pressing the button, and then inserting the same cuvette with 1 mL of reagent and pressing the button again?(c.2)? ceastman
I thought the first curvette had the clean sample of water in it for the (c.1) and then you add the reagent to do (c.2)
FarmerTy
You should be using the same cuvette. The first time is to zero it, then it reads it again with the reagent. It is ideal to keep all conditions as similar as possible, including cleanliness of the cuvette and even the direction it is facing due to imperfections in the glass. Doing so will help minimize errors in the reading.
