rockstarwiggle
http://www.zerowater.com/filter.aspx Could this be used as a water filtration for nano top off water? They claim to get you down to zero tds.
jestep
I would guess that most of the filtration comes from ion exchange. If you look at the filter durability page: http://www.zerowater.com/filter-durability.aspx this is inline with what using IX as a primary filtration method would achieve. Not to say that it's a bad system or anything but I would expect around 30 - 40 gallons per filter.
rockstarwiggle
Thanks. So yeah I saw this commercial and thought would that be a decent h2o filter just for topping off. I'll have to do some math to see if one is worth the price to use.
Planeden
I looked into using this other filter system. But I quit using it, so no final results. http://www.austinreefclub.com/topic/28874-experiment-in-filtering-tap-water/
