prettyfishy76
The glass of my 150g tank has these odd egg sacs on them. I am assuming they are snail eggs. Any idea of what kind of snail?
subsea
I thought that I had seen every kind of snail egg. Neat looking. I have no idea what snail, but nice picture. Patrick
prettyfishy76
They are kind of neat. There aren't a ton of these on the glass. The pictures were taken with my OlloClip (macro lens). They are fairly small - about the size of the round end of a bobby pin.
Woods
They look like Nerite snail eggs to me... I have had them on my glass before. http://www.wetwebmedia.com/MolluscPIX/Gastropods/Prosobranch%20PIX/Neritids/NeritesF1.htm
Sherita
Those are cool! I don't know what they are, or where they came from, but they are very interesting. It's always great to find new things in our tanks

I like extra "free" snails - if they survive.
Woods
if they don't survive; they were food for your fish... :-)
prettyfishy76
if they don't survive; they were food for your fish... :-) I'm hoping they do. All of the fish were recently taken out and placed in a hospital tank for treatment. These snails might have a chance for now.

It's been neat to see what kind of life springs up when the fish aren't around, but dang - treating those fish in another tank has been such a pain in the butt that I feel as if I could have lived quite happily having not seen the baby shrimp and snail eggs.
