I've really enjoyed the past two C4s and have gotten good feedback and reviews, I would love to continue with C4 in 2015. However, moving forward requires more traction from non-local exhibitors and sponsors. As great as our local stores (Austin AquaDome, River City Aquatics, Niko's, etc.) participation has been, it's hard to justify the cost of the event for what we've had the last two years. Exhibitor table rentals is what funds the event, attendee tickets do not. I'm working to change the format up some to attract the necessary exhibitor participation. Without that we don't have the budget to keep bringing in big-name speakers, and having a large number and variety of exhibitors also makes it more interesting for attendees. So in short, yes, I'd like to continue, but I'm having to work to put a lot of the pieces in place to make it happen. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
