This is a great receiver I used to have this same exact model pushing a pair of b&w 604 s3s with 4 b&w 602 s3s and a b&w cc6 s2 center along with a b&w asw1000 sub The rotel had plenty of power. Don't let the 70watts per channel fool you. It puts out more than they say. It was a great combination as accented the b&WS very nicely. The price is a good deal too as this receiver still could go for over 500 bucks in today's market. If I was looking for a receiver I would def pick it up for that price.
