If you are doing reality small/lighter structures this works well. If you are looking to hold a bunch of weight in an off shape, defying gravity, then it will not be enough probably. How long do I let it dry? Will it kill all the liveness on the rock having it out that long? How big, if smaller pieces, pat it dry and glue/epoxy it will be fine. Larger pieces I feel it need to be pretty dry and it will take a few hours minimum to bond well, probably killing much of what is on it.
