mFrame
I see several that say they're reefsafe with caution, my question is that I have clams, feather dusters, and a gorgeous coco-worm that I don't want to lose. Any recommendations for a boxfish that is compatible?
George Monnat Jr
I would think your feather dusters and co-co would be in danger. From LiveAquaria: Use caution if placing the Cowfish Longhorn in a reef tank as it may nibble on tubeworms. That's a shame, because I was just looking at a cool Longhorn Cowfish at RCA. mFrame
Yes, that's why I ask. I know that many warnings are generic, I've read of members who have puffers and other "non-reefsafe" fish in their reef tanks so I'm looking for some anecdotal evidence to do what I want. Niko's Reef
I don't know, but I'm in the same boat. I want 1 of those little guys pretty bad.
Bannerfish
i had a cowfish in a reef with zoas, random softies, lps, coral banded shrimp, and a squamosa. never touched anything but the food i fed him. the little fat fish never even ate the pods that were in there
