Does anyone around here breed seahorses? I would like to buy a few captive bred ones if someone has them. Or pipefish. If not, some type of interesting peaceful fish? I need some fish for my macro/softie tank that is fishless, not too picky about what kind they are as long as they are not herbivores. Also looking for some interesting green or other colored macros, all i have are red varieties and prolifera, looking for something different. Gorgonians would be great too, been wanting those too. PM me if you have any of these, or know where i can find some. Thank you
  2. i had a cowfish in a reef with zoas, random softies, lps, coral banded shrimp, and a squamosa. never touched anything but the food i fed him. the little fat fish never even ate the pods that were in there
  3. You're welcome, nice meeting you!
  4. I have a few extra corals I would like to sell. If your interested PM me. I am located in Killeen, but may be willing to drive to Austin if multiple corals were picked up at the same time. We should be home all day tomorrow (Sunday the 17th), and most afternoons and evenings during the week too. Green wellso brain, 4-5in across $80 Pink and cream colored plate coral (puffs out at night time) around 4-5in across, loves to eat mysis! $45 2 good sized branching hydnophora frags, lots of branches, around 3in around $20ea I have 3 (i think) small frags of Palau Nepthia, arou

  9. my cyphastra doesn't look great either most of the time, not sure why. Coral- tough one, I always find myself staring at my duncans and monti caps invert- I love the conchs, I have a teeny dwarf one as well as a few larger ones, they're cute fish- my vote goes for cuttlefish
  10. Yep hes in an extra tank that i put all my extra frags and stuff. theres a few small damsels in there as well. So far he seems to stay closed up until he smells food that i feed the tank, then he opens up. I was thinking ill do a live phyto drip in there in hopes of keeping him well fed, but i need to find a good starter culture first. Does anyone know if those little bottles you buy at the lfs are any good for starting up your own cultures? And yep, this one came from Patrick
