It should work. My issue with it is that it's only a single float sensor, and not even an optical one like the normal Osmolator. Personally, unless you're going to go for the normal Osmolator, I would opt for a double autotopoff.com kit and an aqualifter pump.

It really depends on your evaporation rate. I have two of the osmo nano's. You can use them on bigger tanks, you just have to bypass the 15 second cut-off. If you're looking for an inexpensive model within that price range, the JBJ ATO combined with a maxi900 or tunze silence 250 are a good fit.
