aggieMEDIC
I am going to transition from totally open top to a screen. What kind of screen do people use? Just a standard window screen? Thats what I was planning

George Monnat Jr
I use the screen from BRS Bio3 mentioned, but I built my own frame. I like it, because it's fairly translucent.
Rjohn
aggiemedic, are your flying fish getting out?
mFrame
Lowes, Home Depot, and Walmart sell the screening kits for about half the price. Their is bird netting in the garden section used to protect your veggies from birds that works fine. If you use actual screening material be sure to get something with a 1/4" weave, and don't buy solar screen material or you'll block all your light. I'm partial to the black netting but it does show salt creep more easily.
jestep
Is this for your 24 gallon? I think I have some leftover 1/4 BRS screen if you want it. I ended up not using it on my rimless.
