But I believe it recently went out of print so the price has skyrocketed. It's possible a second edition is around the corner. Borneman's Aquarium Corals is probably better for hobbyists as it has more care information. But for an 'encyclopedia' like you mentioned, then the Veron book can't be beat. I am still very surprised it went out of print because it was the only book of its kind. My fingers are crossed that a new, updated version will be coming out soon.
