  1. The teachers will take them home for the summer. This is another of the reasons we are looking for smaller all-in-one tanks- because they're a lot easier to move.
  2. If it's 24g then chances are it is an Aquapod. We'll just wait now and see if anyone has a cover for it. (Since it's going into a classroom, the cover is pretty necessary.) Thanks again for the offer!
  3. Thank you; that's a good start! I think I can find a pump to get the back working, but can you confirm the brand of it? If so, maybe someone will come along with the matching hood...
  4. Hey Everyone- I've started a little program called Fish in Schools (http://fishinschools.org) that's part of a non-profit association called MARATA (http://marata.org). You can view the Fish in Schools site (still under construction) for a summary of what we do, but the basic idea is to put low maintenance saltwater setups in classrooms. These aquariums will go into public schools and be free of charge. We're just getting started and have some Austin teachers lined up who are ready and waiting. What we're looking for now are donations of used equipment to get us started. We really need some of the smaller all-in-one aquariums, like Biocubes or Nanocubes. If anyone has one they'd like to donate, please let me know. (It doesn't even need to be fully functioning, as long as the aquarium part is in good shape, we could probably get it up and running with spare parts.) We'll also be looking for other donations as the program progresses: live rock, easy corals, small-tank appropriate fish etc. Please just reply to this post if you have anything. If anonymity is more your style, you can email me at: craig {at} marata.org. Cash donations made from our http://fishinschools.org are also, of course, greatly welcomed. Anything at all will help! Suggestions and ideas are welcome as well. Thanks! Craig
  5. Are they white? They could be snail eggs...
  6. If you stretch the definition any further the word is apt to break. But anyway that comment was in responses to Robb's comment above mine.
  7. Another vote for Tunze. (Though keep in mind that the 6045 isn't controllable. You need to go up to the 6055 for that.)
  8. A friend of mine has a JBJ Nano Cube, very lightly used, excellent condition, all parts included *except * the return pump. Still a great deal at $75... he'd like it gone ASAP, like today if possible. Text/Call him at 512-507-3224. Thanks!
  9. We have one of the round hanging MH pendants with a broken retractor device. (The spring loaded retracting part is broken, but could easily be replaced or worked around.) Anyway, apart from that it's brand new and in perfect shape. $75 Any questions, feel free to stop by the store or give us a call. Thanks! Aquatek 450-0182
