Nice. I have the same tank as well. I am able to keep mine at 79 with a bunch of fans. My skimmer has an external pump which helps a lot. Have been eying a chiller though. It would certainly be nice not to have to worry about the temp. I lost a bunch of coral a few months ago when I forgot to turn the fan back on after a water change.

Anyway, rock looks awesome. Good start for sure.

Wow, that looks really great! I love the new zoas. What did you use to attach the zoas to the lr after taking them off the plugs? I still need to do that to mine. Sounds like you have an awesome set up going.

Well depending on how sensitive they are to fraging. i found that using bone cutters or pincher's to crack the frag plug they came on to fit the shape you need! and i use locktite superglue control gel 10sec they have 5 10, 20 (triangle, spare, but as long as it is not round) so that when Coraline grows over it, you cannot tell it was a plug! just looks like LR! but the green and Orange zoas "dragon eyes" are very sensitive to being fraged! so i was very careful not to get the pincher's or the cut to close to them at all! i hope it doesn't look too much like a plug on my LR! but it also adds a different height to the surrounding zoas. so when they all grow together in ginormous colony! the stronger strain wont over run the weaker strain. (have no idea if it'll work but just over thinking my aqua scape) will continue to post updates of growth in tank.

So i had some type of worm that has been putting out a fishing line looking thing that was hurting my zoa's! so i took them off my main LR and attached them to a piece i bought from Shane. i attached all of them to the rock so that one, they dont over run my pretty purple rock. and two, so that if fragging is wanted or needed it will be much easier! just for safe measure cause the zoas wernt looking to good from being stung from worm tentacle. i did hydrogen peroxide and fresh water dip and then glued to my rock! Now they are are very happy and even sprouting new heads.

I also added

fire shrimp

scarlet skunk cleaner shrimp

Id also like to mention ive been winning the battle on vermitid snails by using putty over thier prods.

and i dosed flatworm exit by 3 times stregth cause i saw 1 adult nudibrach and 2 babys so i knew it would be bad if i didnt take action! which i will repeat once a week for a month to kill nudis cause flatworm exit does not work on eggs. (no adults no eggs no nudis)

and i will be using putty to cover the fishing line worm things i was talking about earlier. cause someone told me they could be poked with a prod to break thier shell but, nothing from a saftey pen to a sewing neddle on a rod just wasnt working. any one have any info on these little things! it looks like line let out of rock to float in current to catch food THEN boom its gone. like the thing sensed food or somin.

i dont wanna mess with my aquascape and disrupte the tank. i have coraline colored aquascape constucion epoxy! its purple and can be used and moled under water for these type of aplications! its worked nicely and super glue has always been a mess! i i have great results with lock tite super glue control gel its 10sec!(they have 5sec 10sec and 20sec) the ten works the best! it gives you ample time to mold it! and dries perfect underwater. a

Cool that your firefish are already out and about. Sometimes they can be real shy.

And I really love the pistol/goby pair. Have been be of my favorite match ups. Once I get rid of the devil damsel fish, I am getting another pair.
