pbnj
Never heard of the Sony and haven't used either, but there's a reef guy I subscribe to on YouTube that uses a Flip. Video quality is really impressive.

medi
I've played extensively with the MinoHD, basically same as the Ultra just smaller, and the Kodak Playsport ZX3. I was equally impressed with the HD quality as long as you had an extremely bright lights source. When you take either one into a normally lit room the picture becomes very pixilated. I ended up going with the Kodak Playsport because it is waterproof to 10 ft and the fact that it has removable storage via a SD card. I have now had it for about 6 months and have continued to be very impressed. We let my 3 year old run around with it, so as you can imagine it has been dropped several times, but it still works like new. I'd be happy to send you a few short videos when I get home just let me know.

+mcallahan
Why not go for full HD that is waterproof to 180 feet? I'm talking about the GoPro I tested it out a couple of weeks ago and I was impressed.

+dapettit
Thanks but again out of my price range and I looking for portability. Not really needing it to shoot tanks.

+dapettit
Less than $200 and fit in my pocket. It's just to video tape the grandkids and there school projects. Decided to go with the Kodak Zi8.
