offroadodge
if its maricultured make SURE u dip it!!!!! There are some realy nasty flatworms that arent easy to get rid of once u have them. Some are imune to dips, just to be advised. Depends on where it came from in the ocean.
Robb in Austin
It came from Live Aquaria Diver Den, they have a whole quarantine setup for fish, corals so he should be ok. See http://www.liveaquaria.com/general/general.cfm?general_pagesid=377 for more info
Brooks
I'll definitely inspect mine closely, and dip. However, it is not likely that LiveAquaria Diver's Den corals have them.
caferacermike
So uh, it says "goodies" not "a neat thingy". So where are the rest?
Brooks
I counted Clint's goodies as part of mine. Boomson
caferacermike
Lame. It's still only a pic of one coral. Your boomson was pointless. I don't care how many imaginary thingies you counted on Clint, the thread title was about goodies. Until I see more you need to change the title to "Some new good" or "A new thing". Brooks
Its in the tank! Its looking well. I dipped it, and all was good. Its polyps are out and fluttering, and the color is near exactly as the picture shows.
offroadodge
It came from Live Aquaria Diver Den, they have a whole quarantine setup for fish, corals so he should be ok. See http://www.liveaquar...ral_pagesid=377 for more info unfortunatly NOT...Vivid has a very strict dipping process also, so why did they still have flatworms(not the bad ones) on them when they arrived, these were aquacultured. Maricultured corals are a WHOLE diffrnt ballgame. Just tryn to warn ppl, there is a thread on RC about a guy who had to tear his tank down cause of AEFW (the realy resiliant ones) and he DIPPED DIPPED DIPPED but to no availe. He still wound up gettn the. Just LOOK very close is all i sayn. All is probably fine but doesnt hurt to try and help a little.
