been monitoring nitrite with dip test and its claiming .5ppm at the moment. this TLC says cycles in 3 to 7 days"safely yet rapidly" could it be coming close to finishing the cycle already?

thanks for the input, was nice to get some sorta feedback after almost 30 viewers lol. are my levels ok at this point in the life of the tank? Im dosing with TLC for saltwater as per Shane(fishybusiness) suggestion. (bottle was thrown in with purchase)

my readings so far are as follows: Calcium 420ppm KH 161.1 ppm Phosphate 0ppm Nitrate 10ppm Ammonia 0.50ppm and heres the pic also saw my first hitchhiker today

This was in no way intended to start people bad mouthing our LFS. was mearly a question of what is this strange object on my rock. I really like the stores we have here in town. Ive never really had any problems with any of them. I will still give business to aquatek, ill just be inspecting my rock a lil more carefully from now on. (was prolly written while mike was posting his)

thanks everyone that helped. CRmike thanks for the kalk powder, just hit about 12 that i saw on the rest of the rock hoping thats all. really really nice tanks you got there mike, cant wait to see the 400 up an running(also first time i saw a skimmer that was taller than me)

its a 29 gallon tall. not tooooo sure on corals yet, i know at least some softies, livestock is gonna be some black and white ocellaris, a blenny of some sorts and CUC, I plan on running it long term
