Dr tims is the best. It's the rite bacteria. Not waste plant bacteria like the rest. Dr Tim is a marine biologist and has studied this for several yrs. Most tanks cycle in less than a week. But it's not a vicious cycle like just letting it cycle with table shrp or damzels. I will be using dr tims to cycle my tank and I suggest it to any new setup. MIndflux you will have a very small cycle your rOck has been seeded for over 5 yrs. If you see a cycle at all. You can add cleanup crew anytime. Matt

Ok I can order it a little eairly. The tank should be running by Tuesday weds at the latest. Ill talk to Chad and Belinda too they are setting up a 144 that should be up and running the same time I am. Dunno really if they need anything but worth a call anyway. Ballistic reefer is setting up a 57 too and Mindflux will be re setting up my solana bout the same time. . If we can push it till the end of the week we may have a large order. Matt

what amperage is the breaker? and what all are you running on it? also what outlets are on that breaker? normally one breaker runs a set of wall plugs. are you running a GFCI on that outlet? its recommended so you don't shock yourself or fish. . is the breaker hot when it trips. if so if it were water it would just reset the GFCI not trip the breaker.

The sedra 5000 was a lot quieter than the sp3 the 5000 was an upgrade for the 6-2+ and came on the newer models of that skimmer. Matt

Ok, thanks for the quick replies and info, I think I'll have to wait. It is a 10-8yr old skimmer. So that's what I think is fair value. i do understand them to be good skimmers though. Thanks again Matt

Im looking for a 40g sump for my new 40g build. would prefer it be glass or acrylic so i can drill it for bulkheads. something like a 40g breeder would be preferred. thanks Matt

Looks Like i found my new tank. a 58g DSA custom so my solana will be up for grabs. its rite at 14months old 100% starfire glass. a small scratch on the left side glass, seals are all good no chips it will be clean when you pick it up.. very well taken care of its been a good tank and severed its purpose. i have the stock skimmer and return pump ill be putting back in it. the center compartment has been slightly modified to fit a tunze 9002 skimmer (not included). it has a custom black stand i had built and its a heavy duty not one of the cheap solana stands that fall apart. ill include a tunze 2605 power head that has plenty of flow for this tank. and a 250 watt MH coral vue ballast i used to light this tank. but no fixture. i will be using my fixture on the new tank. no rock no sand included. i paid 300.00 for the custom stand 300.00 for the tank 85.00 for the power head 100.00 for the coral vue ballast im asking 420.00 for everything not parting it out... thanks for looking Matt

Jessie can you tell me, does this one have the sporadic temp gauge that always wants to reset it self back to 24 degrees celsius? I know that's been a problem with these chillers. The timers are bad in some of them.
