He will probably eat your firefish Brooks.

The Firefish got Alcohol poisoning from the Vodka... or he had a heart attack. I was watching him for 1 minute, and the next minute he was dead.

The only other tank mate I have is a Yellow Tank about the size of a 1/2 dollar (has to go soon when he gets too big), and I doubt the little guy could bother a Tang. Going to try and convince the parents to get him... well, going to keep convincing them.

What tank size should these things be kept in?

I will start soon, maybe this weekend if the nitrites get to 0. I plan to move slowly, not looking to lose livestock.

I couldn't tell you the sex, but I can tell you that is a very pretty Wrasse!

Sad I'm missing a collection trip, not sad for being in the Bahamas.

The area it's going in is only 6x11x11 (LxWxH), a little over 3 gallons, so it's not powering much space.

At 27W, that's about 9w per gallon in the right spectrum.

The wattage would be a bit low for growth, wouldn't it? I'm not sure if you'd get good growth out of that, despite the coloration.

You run a in a very blue spectrum, so I don't think your issue is too much light. Is it in a high flow, or low flow area? Maybe it isn't getting ENOUGH light. You could try moving it up.

You could try shading it, but it doesn't sound like you've got too much light.

I voted 14k, but I've never had a 10k bulb. They're growth bulbs, though. They just give crappy color.
