  1. The only other tank mate I have is a Yellow Tank about the size of a 1/2 dollar (has to go soon when he gets too big), and I doubt the little guy could bother a Tang. Going to try and convince the parents to get him... well, going to keep convincing them.

  2. I will start soon, maybe this weekend if the nitrites get to 0. I plan to move slowly, not looking to lose livestock.

Everything looks great Dale! Make sure to let me know if you need help moving things over. School is practically over for me! :)

  3. Because of the horrendous accusations, labeling and apparent discrimination I feel not only as an Italian-American, a native New Yorker and a person of affluence, I will be withdrawing my sponsorship and membership to the Austin Reef Club. You have brought me out of my comfort zone. Sometimes in life, you can go too far. Now you can trash talk all you want, just leave me out of it.

    Later, dudes..................

    now....who really believes me???????????????

    That scared me! No lie!

  4. The area it's going in is only 6x11x11 (LxWxH), a little over 3 gallons, so it's not powering much space.

At 27W, that's about 9w per gallon in the right spectrum.

    Thoughts?

Ah I got'cha. It'll reach, but I'm not sure how powerful it'll be at 11"... you could get a PAR meter and measure.

What will you be propagating? SPS, LPS?

  5. You run a in a very blue spectrum, so I don't think your issue is too much light. Is it in a high flow, or low flow area? Maybe it isn't getting ENOUGH light. You could try moving it up.

  6. Ok cool. I want my plate corals to gow bigger so that I could frag them.so thanks for all your guys help.

Ok with LED lights you can change the spectrum of how much light is put put?

The success rate of fragging Fungia is very low. Make sure you've got all the facts before ya' frag! wave.gif
