I have a 90 bowfront and it is 29 tall t5 barely did the trick , so went from 6 36" t5s to 2 48 " t5s, 2 250 w mh and 2 110 w vho. my personal opinion is if you are going that tall (31") you will need more than t5s if you are doing sps. If you are really just wanting a bigger tank for sps and fish depending on howmuch you have in the stand maybe just bite the bullet and go bigger... Start fresh. look at the 150 display at aquatech its the perfect tank. I'm just saying this because I would hate to get done with a project like that and not be completely happy with the outcome.

low alk will cause major problems. I lost alot of sps due to very low alk that was an expensive lesson learned.

Hey guys I am FINALLY DONE!!!! Thank you for all the help Dustin... After 3 broken pieces of glass I decided to just get another tank. All of the broken glass really set me back on getting this tank complete, but it is done. My wife is very happy her office is back in working order and not a big mess anymore. I still have to move my corals to this tank but I am testing it out with a few pieces 1st before i put them all in. I will have pictures up soon of the rest of the build and the final results. Thank you for following this LONG drawn out build. Jason

I am sorry about not answering your question... I got the hole saws from azcummins, The glass isnt tempered we drilled 8 holes in the first one and then decided to use a vortec instead of going with the closed loop.

lol ... They are little clear shrimp and they reproduce pretty fast in the refugium.

I dont need brine shrimp, Im looking for mysis and pods so I can reseed my fuge. I've been keeping a leopard wrasse anf 2 clowns in my fuge and they have eaten all of my pods.

Kaceyj is right, if you use the sponge you will need to clean or replace regularly as they can turn into nitrate factories. dont ask me how I know this. I couldnt see the pic of your sump so i cant really comment on the microbubbles.

I would be interested in it too if you want to get rid of it. I havnt hooked mine up to the computer but I have prettymuch given up on my ph probe. My friend has one and he has a webcam and everything hooked up on his. I dont know, I wish i could help.
