  1. Ive had my 75g tank up for about 3 weeks now tank is cycled, but my water has been super milky. All params are in check but the water would not clear. Im using this cpr skimmer, but havent had any luck. So today I got some carbon filter pads and a media sponge to add to the return chamber. Anyone care to chime in on suggestions or whether this is even gonna help?

  2. Mark C turned me on to it originally. We started our 90g at the same time and both had fish in after a couple of days. Its pretty awesome. Im definetly amped up about the new tank though. Its been almost 4 years since I had one so Im thrilled to be back in the game.

  3. Im definetly aware of the dangers of adding too fast, I learned that the hard way several years ago w/ my first tank, but Ive had great results using stability in the past w/ new tanks. I swear by it when setting up a new tank or adding fish.Im certain that my tank has definetly cycled though. Im not looking to add anything for another week or so. Ill def swing by the store and pick up a few snails this weekend. As of today Fuzzy Dwarf is eating frozen food and swimming happily. Pair of clowns will be next or maybe another leopard wrase.

  4. Garlic extract from Heb, instead of garlic extreme, you can definetly get nori at heb as well in the sushi section. I hung my pendent lights for less than 10.00 w/ hardware from home depot

  5. Yeah it had just finished cycling... We added our first fish last night. Have been using stability to keep everything running smoothly.Just trying to figure the best way to get the rocks to color up. Ive never started a tank from scratch with dead sand and rock so not sure how long it takes to get everything going this route.

  6. Well after a couple of years of being away, Im finally getting ready to get all set up again! I broke down my old 90g that I had due to down sizing from a house to an apt. Well I finally got some more space and Ive decided to go bigger and set up a 120. With the new new move and having to buy new furniture all over again Im sure itll be a slow process, but none the less I am super excited to be back! Im looking forward to meeting w/ some of you guys and doing work with some of my old pals again.
