OK, Here is what I'd do although I'm not sure what a collection cup may cost?

I have a Prism Deluxe. Where the collection cup fits the skimmer itself, at the "O-ring", it is 2". Get a piece of 2"ID PVC.

Cut it to 2-3" in length. Use PVC glue and connect it to a 4-6" diameter piece of piping and a cap to just fit (no glue) or any container with a lid. Hell, even a tupperware container will work. The suction tube can be regulated with a simple, small, binder clip. Clip it on to start it and allow some air flow to keep it running. Ghe great thing about this is you can make the collection cup as big as you like. The Prism's are soooooo small.

The problem is I have a full time job now where I make a substantial amount of money so anything on top of that will only lessen the money I get back for financial aid. Even if its only making a couple bucks an hour. On paper the gov will see that as more money being made on top of what I allready make. Im just real bummed cause schools about to start and Ill need to buy books then I have another tuition payment due next month. Im pretty much outta options

I definetly have no problems working the weekends. The only thing is is most waiter jobs still requre you to pay taxes and report earnings same as bartending. ive looked on craigslist too, but no luck. Im pretty much outta options as far as paying for tuiton unless I can find a job to make some quick cash.

wanted to see if anyone here has any ideas. Im a student and im looking for a LEGAL alternate source of income that cant be documented tax wise. Acording to my financial aid I made too much money last year at my job. When I applied for financial aid I got close to nothing back. My tuition is crazy exspensive... about 500 an hr, and one class ussually is on average 3 hrs. Getting a second job wont help because the more money I make on paper the less I get back for school from the Man. Im open to any ideas that may help to make some extra money to help cover the cost of tuition.

more like insomniac...haha. Maybe it was a quarter. Hmmm either way it was super tiny. I just wasnt sure if he died because he was getting picked on or he was just way to small to survive a sudden change, or both. Yeah im thinking maybe a lepord wrase and maybe a lawnmower blenny. Ive seen some dwarf lions too. How do you think those would pan out in the tank. Id really like to get a bigger tank but just dont have the room.

Well i got the tang because it was a baby and i figured that i would have it for a while before he outgrew my tank. He was about the size of a nickle. How long would a tang that small take to out grow a 55? Ive also noticed that the black percs are a little aggressive too. I had two other clowns and the black percs kicked them out of thier anenomes and then killed them. What would be good to add that I wont have to worry about them out growing the tank and or getting picked on by the clowns or coral beauty im hoping to find something with good color to add. So this weekend I went out to buy some new fish for my tank. I currently have 2 black perculas 1 coral beauty and a fire fish. For the longest time ive debated on what fish I would add next. Ive wanted to add a blue hippo and a bi color angel for the longest, and after much debate i decided to go for it. I knew that i would have some trouble mixing the two angels, but after talking to several people I had heard that it was very hit and miss and that it was actuaally possible to have the two together. I got home turned the lights out, acclimated the tang and the bi color, and after about 20 min i opened them up and put them in. I left the lights off for a while, and then when i did turn them on i made sure to dump a generous amount of food to distract the other fish. As soon as the coral beauty relized the bi color was in the tank he went after it. Long storry short he basically went after one then the other. He beat them up beyond salvation. After a day they were both gone. Since this happened I have no clue if I will ever attempt to add more fish again. Is there anything I could add that I wouldnt have to worry about the coral beauty????

I have a two frags of candy coral for sale or trade. Im not looking for anything specifically just whatever you may be open to trade. Or if you just want to buy them they are for sale too. I have a frag with several heads allready so i just wanted to see if someone might be willing to trade something for them or take them off my hands.

Yes. Galaxias have a very potent sting. I would think the anemone would move away from it, but I think you should move the Galaxia.

too late... it looks like my lta is all but gone. I had no idea that the anenomes were able to be stung by the galaxy. what a bummer. im actually trying to get rid of it my tank just isnt big enough for him. thanks

as some of you may have seen I posted a galaxy for trade a couple of days ago... Im trying to get rid of him before he does any damage in my tank. Ive had an lta for a while now and ever since i moved the galaxy the lta seems to be getting worse and worse. Could the galaxy be sting him. Are Anemones even able to be stung by coral. If anyone could provide some help that would be great thanks.

Im wanting to trade my galaxy cause my tank is starting to fill up fast with other corals. I only have a 55g and it seems no matter where i place him his sweepers ar within reach of something else. This coral would be great for someone with ample space. Im hoping for something equal in value. Im looking for maybe some lps or softies with lots of color.
