I just filled my 75 gallon tank back up today. Completely broke the center brace. I need help repairing the brace but its a little out of my scope of work. If anyone can come by my house and help me fix it I can throw u some cash. Shoot me a text 584-1978 I'd like to fix ASAP

They were feeding him mysis when we were there. He wasnt eating much when he was there, but the fish looked so neat that we figured we'd get him home and give it a shot. Ive been feeding mysis w/ garlic and and pellets with garlic. Not much luck yet. I know with some of my wrases I would feed live brine and then eventually switch to frozen brine then mysis... anyone think that may work w/ this guy?

Hes still being so so with food... I tried a little bit of garlic, but hes not really paying any mind to the food. Any ideas that may help?

It stinks cause I just have a crappy camera phone... Ill see if I can get a better pic tomorrow with my fiancees phone. Could very well be a coral beauty maybe just a color morph...

Yeah Ive had a couple before but none with this color pattern... they've always been more purple in the center and with less noticeable striping. None the less coral beauty or not I thought the colors looked great on this guy. He just looked so much different than the one next to him that we had to take it.

Picked this guy up today from RCA.... We were shopping for an angel and came across this guy. Jake said he was sold to him as a coral beauty. Definitely didnt look like any Ive seen so we grabbed him. Looks like a rusty coral beauty hybrid. Looks great in the tank. Hopefully he does well in the tank. He looks super healthy so now we wait....

Haha my wife said the same thing about the tank in the babies room... its going in my office though. Yeah Im very fortunate that I Dj and make decent money or else we'd definitely be up a creek. Im looking forward to getting set up in the new home and having the option in the future to have my dream tank set up in the living room! Good luck with the little one and congrats again man

Yeah man that sounds pretty rough. I feel your pain though we had a sick pup here too about 2 weeks ago. We were kind of in the same boat with the tank wed already started piecing together parts for a bigger tank as well. We both collectively decided to keep our 75 and just hold off on the bigger tank till after the baby comes. I think for me personally the tank helps me keep my sanity. It gives me something to focus my time on when Im feeling bummed. Not to mention what James said theyre apparently great baby soothers(Thats how I rationalize not getting rid of it).... As for the corneas. They put some dye and antibiotics in my eye and gave me something for pain. I had this antibiotic type stuff that I had to put in my eyes for a week. It sucked cause the texture is about the same as neosporin which you can imagine doesnt feel great in your eyes.... Thank you to everyone that chimed in. We will be making our move to Pflugerville in march. Well through some pics up of the new place once were in hopefully Ill get settled at a new job soon. Hope everything looks up for you to Niko!
