My tank finally cleared up! Nitrates are still up and down hopefully they settle soon

I broke my uv bulb today when I was cleaning the tank. The replacement is 120.00 its cheaper for me to just buy a smaller uv light rated for my tank. This one is rated up to 500g. Let me know if youre interested in a trade. I may just replace it later on when I get back to work.

Got these yesterday! Super excited to have them in the tank. Please excuse the cloudy water just did some moving around... Fts coming soon when it clears... Kept it very simple Hob skimmer CPR skimmer, 2 250w DE pendents, Uv Clearity + sterilizer. Livestock: Gold Head Gobbie, Fuzzy Dwarf Lion, Neon Dottyback, Long Spine Urchin, and my pair of mocha clowns.

They've got a smaller one for 5... Ill take 5,000 if anyone has it laying around

Well after a four year hiatus im back in the hobby. I set up a 75g with a cpr back pack 2, two k3s and 2 250 pfo pendents. I have 2 clowns and a fuzzy dwarf in there right now. Glad to be back and looking forward to rekindling some old friendships.

Let me talk to the fiancee and Ill get back w/ you. Just found out today that I dont have a job next year so money will be tight

I have two k3s pointed up at the surface. Ill do a water change today and lay off the stability and see what happens. As far as the media in the skimmer... Any thoughts on that?

All ammonia nitrate, nitrites are at 0. Salinity is .026 ph 8.5. I have caribbean sugar sand in the tank. It was washed and sifted before it was purchased. I had been using stability when I started up the tank as well as when I added livestock. Could it possibly be a bloom due to over dosing stability?

Ive had an issue with cloudy water since the tank was set up. Just checking to see if anyone has one I may be able to use for a couple days till water cloudiness subsides? Id need something hob since I do not have a sump. Itd be greatly appreciated and Id be sure to keep you in mind when we get some growth in the tank!

That was gonna be my next option. Yeah water has cleared some initially but definitely not all the way. Ill see if anyone has one I can use. Cheers!
