In scoping out the competition, I ran across a this show and their "high performance diet". Pricing is (from the maker): "It's $15 for 4oz (but I pack 5-6ish) plus postage ($5 for 1lb and under - the small flat rate box or $10 for several pounds - the medium size flat rate box - USPS priority mail for US shipping). It's got a shelf live of 6 months. I use approx 2lbs every 6 months for a tank with 12 tangs in it. Now I feed them a lot ( 1- 1x1x2 inch cube in the morning and night - I let them graze on it). Remember, it makes double, meaning you get 1/2 lb and it makes 1 lb..." Anyone interested in picking up some? I'll be buying next week.

Every phoenix bulb I've ever seen, I'm amazed at the color that it puts out. The tanks always look great underneath them. From what I've read of the reefluxes, people have the best luck with them an electronic ballasts. I have some reefluxes on the way, but don't have any direct experience with them or the phoenix.

Euro-reef makes good stuff, and their website and products don't seem to be keeping up. Have you considered one of the newer cone skimmers? Another good choice would be the Vertex IN-180 or 250. Solid skimmer (I had the IN-180), very quiet and efficient.

Ok, got the dates from Vivid, starting a new Group buy thread

I switched this summer...no ill effects and I've found it takes LESS Red Sea salt to reach 1.025 than Reef Crystals.

I'm waiting to hear back from Vivid and if they can't do Monday ship, then I'll go for Tuesday ship, delivering on Wednesday. Note, if the box comes on Wednesday, everyone will have to pickup by 6:30p as I have a commitment that night @ 7p. I'll start an official group buy thread this afternoon once I hear from Vivid.

Payment can be made via cash or paypal - I then order everyone's stuff so it comes in 1 box and so that we get free shipping - When the order gets here, I let everyone know and you come pick up your stuff. The only real ettiquette is that if I don't have someone's money, then I don't include them in the order. We always get great frags from Vivid. They are always bigger than expected and very healthy.
