Alright I was thinking about it and I will sell the tank, sump, and plumbing for $500 if someone can pick it up SOON! Otherwise Im going to finish the canopy and the tank alone will be $600! This is a great deal for any DIY people out there!

The ballast are single Hamilton ballast. One ballast needs a capistor.

400w ballast $75 for the pair.

All my MH's are SE 250 and 400 watts.

Oh Just a thought! Have you thought about ditching the bulky Tunze's and going with a Vortech? You wont regret it on this small of a tank.....

Thanks! Total cost depends on how much you can find a Tunze 6100/6200 pump for. You can find them used for around $200+- on RC. You can also build your own controller for $5. I bought a 6091 wavebox controller for $50 on RC. So its really up to how cheap you can find this stuff for. The acyrlic is the cheap part....

Ifn its for your 55 you would be better off buying the nano wavebox....

It needs to be atleast 20 gallons to keep a pair of dwarfs I think.......

Tunze's are great, but pricey. I have never owned a MP40, but I have heard they give off a much wider flow pattern than the Tunze's. I would try the MP40's and see if you like them, and if you dont switch to some controllable Tunze's. JMO
