  1. did i hear goat? sweet, im totally in! just playin' but for real though, i think im gonna try to make it to this one so count me in.
  2. i got those from www.yourreef.com out of roseville california. i live in manor. i figure that 1 colony of zoas is worth a small frag of SPS? nothing big or ultra extravigant. that or a few pieces of live rock? whatever your willing to part with that i dont already have? i probably wont be attending thge next meeting (typical of me ) and i work in Austin so im there everyday. im not always there all day though. normally only in the morning while i load my truck and head off to some other city.
  3. at first i wasnt sure but now its for real. im breaking down my softie tank and starting up an SPS tank and i need to clear out all the softies. since most of the stuff is attached to rocks ill need to replace alot of my rocks, so i need live rock. and since im starting an SPS tank, ill need that too. i have; an 11" tonga branch covered in GSP, 5 green frilly shroom and some orange monti cap. an 8" tonga branch covered in nothing but GSP. a very large (4"dia.) green sanctithomea (rhodactis?) a couple of fist fulls of tubipora musica. (pipe organ) two large frags (3" dia & 4" dia) of purple plate. a colonie of neon geen mouth brown skirt zoas. (15+ heads) a colonie of neon pink zoas, (6 heads? ) a colony of orange mouth green skirt zoas (9 head) 2 colonies of red mouth green skirt zaos (both about 10 heads and need a little love) 1 large and 1 small blue shroom 4 big cinnimon palys (palythoa grandis) im actually in need of live rock more than frags, but ide absolutely love me some SPS if ya got it? my tank is only a biocube 14 and wont need a ton of rock so you would probably be safe offering up smaller pieces. if your interested just shoot me a PM with whatever you have to offer and hopefully we can strike up a deal? and im fairly easy to negotiate with especially now that i need this stuff gone so dont think that i wont accept any reasonable offer! ill try to get some decent pics up soon but ive been having problems photographing lately. not sure why exactly? sometimes i have it, sometimes i dont....
  4. sorry, i just traded those. i do have an entire tank of other various softiesto choose from though. here's a link tomy thread on RC, let me know if you see anything you like and make an offer. everything soft must go! http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1401995&perpage=25&pagenumber=28
  5. im trying to trade out just about everything soft in my tank. im trying to re-start my tank as an SPS tank and that means i have to get rid of 90% of the stuff in my tank. half of the stuff is in the trade forum and the other stuff i just havent offered yet....
  6. also i'd like to get rid of two large rocks covered in GSP, one with 6 or 7 orange zoas, as well as about 75% of my pipe organ and a bunch of my monti cap.
  7. also, i forgot to mention that ill only be available during the weekend because i work late most days during the week. this weekend (july 4th weekend) ill be home probably on sunday i think? if not this weekend, then i should be home most of next weekend.
  8. ive got 7 zoanthid colonies that im looking to trade. ive had them for almost a year now without gaining more than one or two polyps on only a couple of colonies and im confident that its because i have such a sterile system. since the system is so clean i though i would try my hand at some more SPS. the SPS i currently have seems to be doing great so why not? im not really looking for anything too exotic, just pretty and somewhere in the easy to take of range. ideally i'd like to get a frag for a frag, or one zoa colony for one small SPS or even an LPS frag. so make me an offer and well work something out. what i have is; 9 polyps bright neon pink on pink 18 polyp dark pink on pink 24 polyp red mouth green skirt 7 polyp blue on blue 32 polyp neon green mouth brown skirt 7 polyp orange on orange and a second red mouth green skirt colony with probably 7 polyps. i cant tell because of where its at in the tank. here's some pics. the brown palys arent up for trade though...
  9. thats a very beautifull cyphastrea! i found a nice looking one at RCA a while back, its orange and neon green. not anywhere near a meteor shower or ppe, but i like it.

  16. if you take a look around this thread you might be able to find some usefull info on using LED's. this tank is lit soley by LED's that are mounted on a track on the ceiling. on page seven there are some links to some of the parts they used... http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.p...mp;pagenumber=6
  17. am i allowed to post more than one photo???
  18. despite my insane fear of spiders, i must say that your spider is very beutifull! nice photo too!
  19. another tip, which may or may not help you, is using denatured alcohol before wiping your bead. i would use the aforementioned suggestion of using masking tape to lay out your seams. so once you have your tape in place, then go ahead and apply your silicone bead. at this point there is two ways of going about cleaning your bead, you can use a tool or just use your finger. i use my finger but i dont think that wil give you a wide enough bead... anyways, after applying your silicone bead, spray it down with a mist of denatured alcohol before you smooth out your bead. the alcohol will kepp the silicone from sticking to anything that its not already stuck to. not only that but it leaves the bead very smooth and clean looking. thats my metohd for perfect $20,000.00 stone to stone silicone beads on granite counter tops good luck!
  20. thats a nice looking skimmer, ive never heard of that brand before. where did you pick it up from???
