I am moving and need to sell these guys : ( please only respond if you have a stable tank. I have one six line and one yellow eyed kole tang, both are doing great and have been in my tank for a little less than a year. They are friends so i would like it if they went together. $25 each. They both eat anything but corals : ) my six line will even eat algae off a clip with the tang.
i also have a few corals for sale if interested.

I am selling my tunze 6065 for $100. This pump is a beast, its runs great but has some coralline algae on it.
i can get pictures if you need but google will give you all the info you need on this powerhead.
thanks

what type of corals do you wanna keep? what size tank are you getting? how long do you plan on running this system for?
-
i have gotten really good at not touching things. once you see how much things start growing without your hands in there you get addicted to it : )
-
also could have a little to do with the tank still being so new, most sps dont go into tanks until at least the six month mark or after. Plus from what i have learned keeping sps is having a rock solid alk will go a long way.
-
if it doesnt work out i have the cash in my pocket and nothing to do today : )
-
i agree 100% with the prof on this one, we love to say things that make us feel better but if you where a fish would you really want to leave the ocean for a aquarium?
you can say you tank is big enough all day long but its not and it never will be

dang man sorry to hear. I would take my tank down and start with dry rock next time.
I know its not what people want to hear but those things suck in the worst way and i feel that starting over would save the most time and money. Once again this is just what i would do after reading a lot of stories on other boards about them.
good luck either way!

i really wish one of the LFS's would step up and do a really nice online site and have some great grow out tanks. Austin aqua farm is the only place really like that but they are set up more for bulk.
also i was driving home today and noticed a new lfs around the corner of i-35 and 51st it was called amazing aquariums. To be honest it didnt look like it would be anything good just from driving by but you never know.

two float switches for $40 plus if you get 3 people it would only be $35
i have this one and it has always worked great and I have never heard anything but good about autotopoff.com
-
bulkreefsupply also has a nice one

i would buy dead rock from the prof. he is a sponsor on the site and has great rock. It sounds to me like this would work out the best due to you not having to worry about anything right from the start.
Do some research once your dead rock goes into the tank to cycle so if you have any problems you will know how to handle them.

hey mike you know what i have in my tank, i would love those tickets!!

better yet never put your hands in your tank with an open wound gloves or not. Lesson learned the hard way but still learned.
Glad to see everything is ok and thank you for sharing.

maybe i can bring it by and help with the setup? or you can come grab it. ill call you after work.

the tang is a great algae eater and the wrasse is really good at hunting, he helps to keep pests of my zoos
