  1. My sign has a picture of a Rott and says "I can make it to the fence in 2.8 seconds, can you?" spiteful.gif

I also have a couple of extra dogs if you want to borrow one LOL.

That's a real cool sign..Dena. We would definitely install light sensors and also been thinking about making an future addition to our family...eventually we would like to have a female German Shepherd. Zeus in getting up there in yrs. and he's starting to develop cataract......we would like to get him a friend, he still has that puppy in him and loves to play.

  2. I'm holding a stakeout :gun: tonight (no guns of course)....got the feeling it's some stupid teenagers...being Friday 13th. I'll just set my video camera out there and let it record for a few hours....got the perfect spot :) picked out. Good ideas to consider though....thanks...I just needed to rant about it..since I couldn't sleep last night, 'cause I was so mad

  3. For the past 10 yrs. we never had an issue with locking our doors till it was time to go to bed. The past 2 to 3 wks. someone has been kicking our side door (the one directly to our laundry room). Our dog sleeps in that area (he's an old dog) but he does his share of guarding. This person kicks the door so hard and moves fast, that my dog looks confuse but he's alert and knows someone unwelcome is past that door. My kids are now nervous and I'm beyond pissed. At first, I'm thinking it's a teens prank but for 4 times this has happened and I've reached my limit.

Two days ago this happened and my husband pulled out a flood flashlight and found a fellow hiding in some bushes just across from the street...there's a creek at the cross road so we figure he's been living by the creek, for several days. Police got the call...came and question him...because we did not see the individual running away from the property, there was nothing the police could do to charge him with...but what police did do, was take him to his brother's house.

I would hate to just go spend money on security cameras and what not just to catch the creep....sorry for venting...but I'm so mad right now and can't see straight.

  5. Sorry to hear about your wrasse....Are you sure its dead? It really bites, just when you're not around, something goes wrong......at least everything else made it. And now that you're all patched up :D...you'll be home in no time. Take care y'all.

  6. Very Sweet Deal on the Tyree WM chalice.....I got mine already and I can't wait for it to grow.....it really has beautiful coloration and it will stand out from other surrounding corals. Nice find.....

  7. Don't mean to be harsh but this is "Harlequin Food" if you have a Harlequin shrimp----it's what they eat. Callahan don't go there...I don't want to re-live the bad experience I went thru with this booger of a creature.

  8. Oh Cindy...I know you hate to see him go. But sometimes, you gotta move on.

Oh SHUT UP CALLAHAN!!! LOL No seriously....I just saw a post by Mad Reefer and I must say that this starfish is "not reef safe".....just I let everyone know.

  9. 1 small frag of LA Lakers zoas for sale ---$10 SOLD

1 mini-colony of blastos merletti (the one on top)---$20 PENDING SALE

    gallery_40_5_118764.jpg

Also I have a chocolate chip starfish (Harlequin food)----My Harlequin shrimp didn't make it thru the last molting and perished.---$10

  10. The only drawback on a seahorse tank of that size...1. Young ponies need to be feed more frequently (3-4 times a day)...therefore your polluting the water...which in the end you'll have to do more water changes---which it's not that much regarding this size of tank. 2. You have to consider evaporation....a small tank will evaporation and it will be on constant fluctuation with PH and salinity. I'm only saying this because of previous experience, as I had a nano tank.

  11. Are the acans above pink or purple?

They're a pale pink....almost like flesh like skintone w/green centers. This is how they use to look and now, they seem deflated angry.gif, which makes me wonder why they're not like that anymore. As you can tell on the previous post, about Bryan, his are looking much better then they were in my tank.

  12. I was wondering the same on how long should someone wait to turn the skimmer on. I went to the website and read their PDF files (the lable) and it doesn't mention nothing about when to use the skimmer and how long should it be before doing a water change.

  13. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got it on the stand today! It was not easy let me tell you. Very very stressful to have 1100 pounds of glass 3' up in the air.

I know the feeling....during the process of placing our 215g. on the stand (just my husband, step-son and I), it was so freaking stressful. Every inch and movement we made I couldn't help myself, but I was saying something or other. My husband had it and told me " don't say word, just listen and do what I say, then everything should go in place". It seem like forever but we got on the stand and I could breath. That tank is huge....how's the stand holding? Any issues?
