to be honest the stand doesnt need but MAYBE one vertical support if that. The front and back glass carry 80% of the load anyways. The 2" square tube is more than enough for that short of a span. But better overkill than not enough, also you have a way to skin it.

or if u wanna do a little sheet rock work you can move or extend the plug in the wall to where u want it.

So on your returns, I tried the 2 into 1 and the returns gurggled bad. Took it apart and ran each on into the sock and that solve the sound problem.

so who built your stand? looks like my handy work but i know i didnt do it. looks good. Id get it powdercoated then do wood with magnets wood glued in the corners.

A dremel works great. Or a jig saw. I got my overflows pretty quiet. Will be interested to see how yours do.

When we moved my 205 we used 4 guys and rope. After seeing windshields installed with cups I didn't wanna chance dropping it.

you learn so fast my son....my 1st tank was that away. But it gave me a reason to upgrade. we all learn.

I had a purple and powder blue together. Took a day or two and they were fine. But until then u would think they are out to kill each other. Enjoy

Yep, that's why I'm gonna bite the bullet again and order live rock from the ocean and cure it in a barrel. Just not many options for good live rock local, and I don't want any majenos or amptasia

I'm back...thus was an adventure when I built this tank. Gonna keep it small for awhile but the love for corals will still show in the new tank that I'm getting.

Ty I know u got my donation, just letting u know I will be there tomorrow. I will hv to come from work but I wouldn't hv it any other way. I told u this TY but when u think about giving think about it this away... There are plenty of things in life to skimp on, but life and death isn't one. You will be rewarded in the big picture of it all. Sorry if I sound like a preacher but I guess that's just how I feel. Agree with $, the family will have tons of flowers. The last time I spoke to Tim we were at my house and he discussed in length how his battle has taken a toll on him but he wasn't giving up. He was always smiling about defeating it everyday of his life, never wanted anyone to feel sorry for him at all. I had a close neice pass of leukimia at 9 yrs of age and told him about her. I am very proud to have know him in a personal setting. RIP my friend. I will be getting with u TY.
