  1. I have the old style magnetic ballast, will fire all bulb fine. Is only about 5months old. Also Have an SPS 14k bulb with with (approx) 1200hrs on it. Thats 8hr/day for 5 months roughtly. $60.00 for both.

  2. Chris, Seriously try the Marine SAT(TLC) it in a live bacteria that basically takes the place of what the bubble algae is growing from in the rock. It eats what the bubble algae is growing from therefore reducing them. Within 1 month with my old take being what i would say infested with them they were gone GONE!!!! i put 2 bottles in at one time.(72 gal bowfrnt) Make sure and get the one for saltwater

  3. +1 for emeralds, also Marine TLC. Just pour the whole bottle in at once. I poured 2 bttls in my 72 gal at one time. In about a month i had NO bubbles. I ahve been told by many that you cant over dose the MARINE TLC. JMO

  4. ya, and he doesnt seem to have any SPS, I do 10% water changes every weekend on my total volume of 150g. So every month i change a little over half of the water volume. I have a skimmer and refugium with mangroves anf chaeto. At this point my chaeto and mangroves are doing such a good job the skimmer hardly pull out anything. Just my little tid bit.

  6. For Sale- 2003 Ford Ranger-119k miles-4cyl-5 speed stick(manual) transmission-Maroon-tinted windows-has car alarm but needs to be taken back to Mother window tint to get new keypad. New tires less that 200 miles on them. Bedliner and toolbox. Minor body damage on left bedside and door. I am a technician and have done all the oil changes at 4000 miles and kept up with everything. Only one item has been replaced on engine and that was the coil at about 70k miles. AC/HEAT everyhting is good. Great truck for student or to commute to and from work etc. 19-25MPG on average. $2500 OBO within reason.

  7. ya true, i have an exhaust fan in the closet next to the tank that pull the air in room out to the attic. It also pulls fresh air in from window. AHHHHHHHH.......no that you know this it will help. EZR to explain in person but with the canopy vented to the room and the chiller in closet it got pretty HOT int the room, so my cure for this was to install a bathroom "fart" fan in the roof of the closet to vent all the hot air outta the room. It works very well.

  8. ok Mark, i took some of the advice here. I have had an hard time keeping my PH above or at 8 . When you 1st started this thread i saw the part about putting the vent tube for the protein skimmer out the window, My results are as follows. B4 my PH would swing from 8.0 during the day to like 7.89 at night. Now with it outside it stays at 8.05-8.11...all the time, day or night. The accuracy of my PH probe is +/- .03. I will defntly be leaving it like this. The KH seems to not swing so much also for the whole week. Everything seems to be more stable. Thanks alot for the advice.
