  1. @wa1tx; I was being sarcastic. @Clint; you? beautiful? Who knew!
  2. I know it's sold but aren't you sure you didn't have the decimal one place to the right of where it should have been?
  3. Whattayatalkinbout Willis?! It's right there! It's only the baddest, super duper coolest, piece of BBQ kit ever! Only someone with Clint's disposable income(I mean, who else in town can afford 15x98w ATI Powermodule) could justify such a purchase.
  4. WOW! That's amazing! Where did you find such a gem?!
  5. The BGE is a nice cooker. If you want something bigger, go custom. Klose in Houston is the bomb, and priced accordingly, but there maybe someone closer. A quick Goggle brings up; http://myjobisthepits.com/products.aspx
  6. If you only are going to cook for small groups, a Weber Smokey Mountain can't be beat. They have 2 sizes, an 18" and a 22". Skip the cheap offset ones from Lowes/BORG/Academy. I could trade you my 18" for some nice LPS and get myself a 22"! Whatta ya say?

    Hi!

    Yo! Welcome!

  9. The usual fixes apply: water changes run GFO/GAC consider new lamps or RODI filters think about what you are feeding Using consumers may remove it but fixing the root cause is the key. I think this, like GHA, is just a particularly bad form of the usual algae outbreaks tanks go through. Not everyone gets it. I sent a pic of similar stuff to wet web media and they said cyano.
  10. Cool find! Where did you collect her? Any algae this year? Did Chris break out his bikini? Sorry we couldn't make it this time.
  11. Thanks for clarifying Bry. It didn't occur to me thats what she meant. Emily, Yes, like Bry says, you can position the output nozzle such that it reaches air quickly. Mine is setup that way; I get a gentle surface ripple when it's running and quick siphon break when power dies.
  12. As long as your sump can handle what drains out of the return and overflow you're fine.
  13. +1. It's what I do and it works fine. The Robb and Mark approved. What else do you need?
  14. Are you saying I got it wrong?!!! Thanks, and sorry. You can call me Clint, or summin, 1x, in a post at your discretion in payback.
  15. Tim, There have been some questions raised with the way AWT runs their tests, by the chemistry gurus at RC. I'd be very wary of their results and would be hesitant in sending water to them. I believe there is another company that tests water whose results have not been called into question, but they charge considerably more. Unfortunately I can't remember the name. Edit: found some info http://www.reefcentr...6&highlight=awt Emily, http://reefkeeping.c...6/rhf/index.php and http://reefkeeping.c...2/rhf/index.php
  16. Wow. That's all I got. The "Leave Brittney Alone" may be more pathetic though.
  17. What's your upload limit? I had similar issues with my account a while back. Andrew cranked up my limit and it fixed it. I was nowhere near my upload limit but it still wouldn't let me upload.
  18. Where are the return pumps in your sump? Are they sucking in stray bubbles? Do you have a bubble chamber in between the sump input section and the return section? You could go through the return plumbing looking for a leak at each junction. Some have recommended Vaseline as a temporary leak stop.
  19. Might be nice to get some Hanna checkers as another "test kit". Oh Mark....I see a MSWTV episode in the making.
  20. I wonder if we could contact salt mix mfg's and ask for precisely made samples that meet, according to their equipment, their labeled specs. Would that work? Another thought would be seeing if a public aquarium could provide some water. Presumably, they buy in big enough batches and test consistently enough to provide consistent water. Regardless, as a basic test if 1 person could provide enough water to run multiple tests on all the kits I think we'd have some basic info to draw some, admittedly unscientific, conclusions from.
