Yes but they will eventually starve on them as you can't ever seem to supply enough pods or live baby brine. For what it's worth I always hatch my own brine for 4 days for new arrivals. Then I mix the live brine in the tank at the same time as the frozen. Mistakes get made lol. Then they figure out oops I ate that but it was good.

Yes that sounds fine.
However I warn. Some dragonettes just won't eat prepared period. No matter what you do.

I have heard the secret to QTing finicky fish to to already have peaceful tank mates in the qt that are already eating. They will help show that it's food. Also don't vaccum out uneaten food. I just wanted my red saddled anthias and sunburst anthias eating krill off the floor of the QT that I put in last night. This has been common for me. It takes the fish a hot minute to figure out that your presence and a turkey baster means food.
Either way you roll the dice. Dragonet is the hardest in my experience to get eating. Some just refuse. Some fish just won't eat frozen.

Maybe they missed you.

I bought mine and JimH regs from "flowerfishs" on theplantedtank.net
There is several guys that build regs and always a couple ads in the for sale section.
You have to register as a member to see the for sale section.

I didn't think it would either but it and the neo mag are.

I'm running 7.17 on my ph with 30ml minute effluent rate. Consumption is about 0.5 dkh day in 160 real water volume right now. I'm a bit faster then 1 bubble sec.
I would work it down slowly.

Congrats bud!
Seeing is believing Ty. You should help him uncrate it. Once he figures out Felix uses a whole box of screws to put his crates together.

Beings as your upgrade is going to take an unspecified amount of time. Replace it. It's $150 well spent.

I get 240gph through a 1/2" John guest. I would say it really doesn't matter.
On the drains I would argue it does though.

My spears gate valves are not. They are the same inside diameter smooth all the way through.

I agree with you Ty about adjusting bubble rate to match the desired ph rather then 100% relying on the controller.

I'm going to be using the "toXIc method" to tune my CaRx. Which is set a stable effluent rate and use your controller to slowly decrease ph by 0.05 each time. Bubble rates vary due to speed of effluent, size of reactor, amount of media, etc. if I remember correctly he advocates a very fast drip / stream.

Easier to run the drains.
IMO go for the easier drain runs and harder manifold.

It has been my experience and backed it up with research. The dotty back is usually the offender. Add him dead last
