  1. At first I thought it was a flat worm and almost immediately ripped out that piece of rock for a fw dip but did a little research and it seems there's really only a couple bad types of flatworms and this guy doesn't look like either of them

  2. What the.., I got a RBTA from Niko for $80, golf ball size, I feel duped

I saw a Ritteri, Sebae and RBTA at Niko's for 30-60 each. I would hit them up on Friday for the big sale and score one. The RBTA was the size of a golf ball, the others were baseball size.

Lol from what I've seen bta's really fluctuate in price I guess sometimes they have a higher supply than demand depending on when the nems decide to clone themselves.

  3. Actually just got offered a nem by a guy who has 3 Sherman rose bta's. Looked em up and the have been tank breed since 2000 and are supposed to be the hardiest of nems and love to split. Right now he is asking 50 but I'm seeing if we can bring the price down if we buy 2 or all three of em.

  4. Alright man. I think I'm gonna go for the online thing. Shipping is 40 but Kevin wants in on it too so that would take it down to around 15 a person

  5. What is a fortune? A range you are willing to spend will help the rest of us determine if what we have is worth contacting you about....

Well it depends on what it is... I was thinking around $75

I found this guy online for $70 and might go for it

  6. Hmmm, interesting. I used a ph buffer in the beginning but I think it was a base not an acid. So maybe my phosphates are coming from elsewhere; now that I have been hand removing it from my rock and substrate I have noticed that it is growing very slow on the rocks (almost like the rock is using phosphate too fast for it) but it is growing rather fast on the substrate

  7. I'm looking to buy a small bta anemone in the near future. I've decided to dedicate my little nano to a bta as my clowns keep trying to host in my zoas... The zoas don't like this too much. I would like for it to be colorful, as it might very well evict the rest of the corals ( I have a 14 g), but I'm not looking to spend a fortune.

  8. The sand was crushed aragonite that I rinsed rather thoroughly... Might still have some phosphates though.

I've heard good things about chemo clean but haven't really given in thought in my system because I don't have a skimmer or reactor to take the decomposing cyano slime out

  9. Well thank you; I quite like it myself :)

The cyano is on both. It's not growing so fast that I can't control it though; I've just been vacuuming it up with a turkey baster once a day; time consuming but it is more precise than having a siphon constantly going. It's not long in my 14 g before a siphon takes out a big chunk of water

  10. It's been a while since my last post; I've just been lazy and limited by my phone. So here's where I'm at now!

(sorry about the sideways pics again...)

    2 blacker ice clowns

    1 neon goby

    1 Randalls Goby/ pistol pair

    1 montipora

    1 orange yuma rhodactis

    1 small zoa colony

    1 colony of gsp (Subsea)

    Gracilarius Hagii (Subsea)

    Red chaeto like macro (Subsea)

Everything has been very stable, my only problem has been cyano which I blame on the dry rock still leaching.
