My tank PH drops a lot when I have a lot of people over, but I have a hard time imagining how music could cause cloudiness ...

Nice to meet ya!

Yeah, decided against triton. I'm gonna run a calcium reactor.
We finalized the drawings on my stand, its gonna be really nice I think, and so Chris told me I am on a 12 week schedule for that. Which would put me at end of July. Time will tell ... I don't really see any point in asking though because my experience is they will tell you whatever and then it does not happen as promised. Sigh ...

Honestly I think Reburn is copying me

Flash - there's an update on the world's slowest build
Infrastructure is now to the wall.. This weekend added a 20 amp dedicated GFCI circuit, blue riser cat6 for ethernet to my ONQ cabinet, 1/2" red John Guest for waste saltwater to clothes washer drain, 1/2" blue John Guest for fresh saltwater from mixing barrel, 1/4" white John Guest to RODI tank in garage, and dual 3/8" black John Guest for skimmer line up through attic to eave opening.
Also, I've decided to do a frag tank build too, and this weekend identical infrastructure is in at the frag tank location. Frag tank is 4'x2'x13" rimless planet. Currently a pile of parts in my study
Plan is to finish out the water system and then build the frag tank. Maybe I can actually buy a frag at C4!

Wow - someone steal this!
-
I could probably ship it, not sure how much that would cost though
-
I don't think that is overstocked far a 40B. You could probably go with a few more fish. Maybe consider a small wrasse?
-
What next?

I think a calcium reactor is a good example of need for continuous PH monitor

I do have a question.... what can a member do to add value to the community?
Easy - pass on what you have learned and lend a hand when you can!
-
I am interested. .

It's not bad, actually

I actually ordered a classic (not gold, regular ph probe) today since they lowered the price. I think it's fine and feel like I know what I am getting. But I had the benefit of knowing about their new product before I decided. I would have been upset to order one and *then* learn there was a new model.
-
Are you sure your thermometer or probe has not drifted? Could be a false reading?
-
Yep, I think we've all had a day where nothing goes right with a project and multiple trips to the hardware store ensues.
So the tank has a crate, but does the tank itself exist yet? If so I think we need some pics!
The tank and sump are done. I'll have to ask Felix for a finished pic. I've seen a few of the tank and sump but not a finished product.
I'll be watching the RS facebook page. I'm sure he'll post pics!
-
Sigh. I was hoping your update would be "Felix told me the tank has shipped" ...

Ugh! Good thing you have that waterproof stand tho

With a lot of dry rock you are also looking for phosphate to leach out of the rocks. I ran my pukani dry rock in a tub with a skimmer and a GFO reactor. I did not acid wash it.

Good thing your floor is water resistant!

Perhaps if someone is going to go there, they could see if anyone else needs some stuff? I'd be interested.
I would be interested too. Sounds like Juiceman already went though ....

I hit the Regal Plastics website, it does not look like they do mail order directly. Did you call them for a quote?
