wow! This is awesome!!!!!! Thank you all. I can't say it enough,
I will post more info on the golf tournament when it is all setup. I am still waiting on some details and emails back from a friend of mine. So far, I am pretty sure it will be at Riverplace Golf course on Monday 28th. If anything else changes, I will post here to update. Thanks again everyone!

As of now, Serenity is good I believe. She has gotten more toys and clothes than we know what to do with. Mine and Zoey's families were great to us for Christmas covering clothes and some other necessities for the new place. So anything else being donated, we will look over and if it cannot be of use to us, it will go to the shelter with other things we have been taking up there. Thanks again to everyone for the help and response this has brought out. You all have no idea what it feels like to receive such love and support from a group of people whom most you have not met. It makes this whole situation much easier to deal with.

Hey everyone! Sorry I have been out of touch the past few days. We have a lot going on. We are still looking for a storage unit. The only days I have been able to look, people are closed/off for holidays. As of now, we cannot hold anything else where we are staying. There just isn't anymore room. I appreciate all the help everyone is offering.
Robb, it would be great to have a hand at some of the drives. My car is also really small, so I can't fit much in it.

Donations through the club so far total $160, so please continue to keep Klayton and his girls in your thoughts.
What ages and sizes are your girls? I have 2 girls and would love to donate good clothes if the sizes match up.
I have a complete toddler bed, with bedding (Tinkerbelle) - if you want. Also I have 4t clothes that I just removed from my daughters room. Let me know if you would like that also. Nwehrman@centurytel(dot)net Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
This is amazing!!! Thank you all for being so generous! It truly means the world and makes it so much easier to stay positive through this whole situation.
Serenity is a 3t and 6 shoe. The tinkerbell bed would make her day. Tinkerbell is one of favs and she is in need of a bed.

Thank you. We are trying to find a storage unit right now to store a lot of the things we have been getting. Anything helps in times like these.

Thank you so much Robb for putting this together. And thank you to all the people that have responded to Robb or sent PMs my way. We are extremely grateful to receive as much help from people that we don't even really know or have maybe never met. I posted a thread here yesterday, but did not want to make it out as a charity thread. Being right at Christmas time, I knew it would be tough for anyone to donate or contribute much. It is also kind of a weird place to be asking people that you have never met for help or donations. I have never really been the kind of person to ask for hand outs and this is a tough thing to go through. I am just trying to stay strong and positive and take care of my girls. Again, thank you to all that have responded, it means more than I can describe. anything helps and it means the world to know there are people out there willing to help out so much. Thanks again!

Thank you to everyone for the replies. Pm's have been replied to.
We did not have renters insurance. So we are taking a huge hit on items lost. Suck.
Thanks again to everyone. Will keep yall posted.

Thanks Ty! I appreciate that a lot.
It will take some time to get back to it. Got to save up some cash and find a place to live first.

So, my wanting to upgrade has now turned into a forced restart. Last Thursday at 1:30am my apartment building caught fire. It was the International Residence complex off of Lakecreek & 183. I don't know if any of you heard about this or saw it on the news. I lived in building 13 which was where it started. I believe it started in the apt directly across the wall from us. Our building was one of three to burn entirely to the ground, Nothing salvageable. Not even close. And my reef tank was included in that unfortunately. I only had the tank up and running about two months or so. Now it is all gone. Not only just the tank. We were lucky enough to get out safely with only the clothes that we were able to throw on before evacuating the building. I tried to sign on and post this earlier, but we have had a lot to deal with. Now that Christmas is over and things are settling down, I have a little more time to send out emails and make some posts about the events that took place.
If anyone knows of any spare parts or equipment that can be donated to starting over, I would be forever grateful. It is time to start saving up for a new place to live and rebuilding and replacing as much as we can that was lost.
Thanks in advance for any help that anyone can offer.

Nice thanks. It says score! So I guess they are both good things. I read some other stuff on those spiorbid worms and everyone says they are a sign of a healthy maturing tank. So that makes me happy. Looks like I am doing things the right way. I love finding out that new life is good life!

Ok never heard of those. But if they are good, then they stay. I thought they were some kind of eggs.

Was just looking at the tank and doing some cleaning and maintenance when I noticed a couple things I haven't seen before. If anyone has an idea what these are and if they are bad or not, that would be awesome!
I tried looking these up to see if they might possibly be eggs from copepods, but all images I got on google were from under microscopes and looked nothing like these. They are in my fuge, which is HOB and I recently added a bottle of tiger pods to it and have noticed them swimming around in there, but now there are these things and a lot of them too...
Then I noticed these spiral shaped things stuck to the glass all over more towards the back corners. Looks kind of like a snail of some sort but seems to be flat against the glass. In the pic I can make out what looks to be some sort of animal looking part coming out of the end...

yeah free is always nice! I don't have a sub to any kind of mag yet so this was a nice find for me. Not sure which mags to start looking at. Anyone have any suggestions?

I was just browsing through Reddit on a few of the aquarium threads there and someone posted this link to an aquarium magazine that is in PDF form and available for free download. I didn't know if anyone here had heard of it, so I figured I would share the find with you all. It looks like they cover fresh and saltwater. Pretty neat I thought. http://www.redfishmagazine.com.au/editions

How do these worms get into the tank? I have only seen two brittle stars and a few pods in mine
-
hmmm odd. I'm going to start taking pics over the next few weeks to see if i can see which ones are actually doing it
-
They are looking healthy and reproducing for sure. I just find it odd that the complete heads would change colors off and on. What if I were to get some really high end ones, would they have a chance at completely changing?
-
Is it normal for zoas to change color?
I have some what I think are watermelon zoas and since I've had them some have turned green kind of like what radioactive dragon eye zoas look like. I have also noticed week to week, that the number of green versus the number of watermelon ones will change. I don't know if this is from new ones growing or from them changing color over and over. The colony hasn't seemed to be growing that fast (although I have noticed growth) to have such a sudden change in color. I will try and take a few pics of certain heads throughout a few weeks to try and document what I'm noticing. But has anyone else noticed this type of thing happen with zoas? I'm not 100% sure it's happening, but the ratio does seem to be changing.

Thanks, that one came out pretty sharp

I have heard of tangs getting curious and tasting lps before, but not ripping them apart like that. Hopefully he likes the new food and forgets about the frogspawn. Goodluck

So as of this morning, the cloudiness is gone! Crystal clear water again. Everything looks fine and stress free. I'm thankful I escaped my first bone head move without damaging anything. So here are some pics I snapped soon after the lights came on this morning and all the fish were waking up... Tell me what yall think. Oh, and thanks to everyone for all the suggestions and helping me learn once more!
new acro I just picked up

Ok, so I have details on the golf tournament if any of you are interested.
It will be at Riverplace Golf Club on the 28th, which is the last Monday of January. Starting 10:30-11am. $80 per person. That covers, green fee/cart/range use, light lunch before and after the round and a portion of proceeds to the charity to help us rebuild. Riverplace is normally closed on Mondays and usually a little more than $80 to play there as a guest. So, if anyone is interested, let me know. I'm not sure how many of you might be into golf, just thought I would post info here as well.
Thanks again for everything RCA has been able to help with!
