Thanks for all the replies. If its generally for sps, then ill probably hold off from it. I was thinking it would work for a mixed tank with few sps to keep nutrients down.

I have recently been reading up on Zeovit. From what I have learned, you can get by without the big reactor they recommend and without using every supplement they offer. It seems, the "big 4" as they call it, is sufficient enough.

Anyone here have any experience with it or have any insight? I've read all that I can seem to find and would like to read some opinions from locals.

I think a lot of people that get into the hobby, also skimp on the amount of live rock they go with for the system size. If you have enough LR, the mandarin should have no problem staying alive.

So, we got the 75 from Bio a while back. lol don't even remember exactly when it was. Well, anyway, it's doing great. Had a little battle with cyano that has been resolved with dosing Red Cyano RX. Worked wonders against the stuff. On to the new pics. Still waiting to buy a new DSLR to start getting really good pics. But, here yall go, let me know what ya think!

I looked into making one. I always like to look for diy threads before purchasing anything, but I didn't find very much. Most people just say buy one lol. Are there any rules to sealing magnets to ensure no damage to the livestock? I noticed on one of my Tunze powerheads, the mags are covered and on one of the other Tunze heads, the mags are open and visible.

I just looked up the Flipper, seems pretty cool. Just might have to give that one a try.

Looking for a decently priced low profile mag cleaner that works well. Mag floats seem to be over priced and my searches are only bringing up the algae free ones the BRS has. Any good ones you all might recommend?

I would think start whenever you want. I usually give mine some food the second they attach their foot somewhere to help persuade them that they are in a good spot.

I feed mine whole krill once a week or so. The gbta gets a littler smaller piece than the rbta.

How is the life span of fish in a system like that? Have you had some of the same fish in there the whole time? I've heard of people keeping fish for many years. 20 plus would be impressive.
