  1. I am curious, why are you not going to use all of the old sand?
  2. My browser has been acting up lately, I will try again...
  3. What is bryopsis? If it is treatable or not a huge problem, can I come by and take a peek? I am slowly stocking my 135 long and I would love to get a clam.
  4. I will buy the canopy and stand for $100 cash.
  5. I did it on a 55 gallon right in the middle. It worked fine and looked fine too, however it was a fowlr and my lion and triggers and puffer quickly outgrew it hence my now owning a 135. I gave it and the stand away when I moved from Va. Beach to Tx. I wish I still had it though b/c my son wants a horse tank and it would have been perfect!
  6. Add my name to the guest list. =-)
  7. Too funny Karen, =-) I can't sing wort anything but I have a couple tanks I can donate to the cause! How does that theme song go anyway? I can't remember...

    2 Seio 820s

I would like one also, if still available.
  9. I have several clean and large containers and I can help too, if I have a little advanced notice. I live in N. Austin but can see Round Rock out my back windows. So I am pretty close to you. About 10 to 15 min I am guessing. Is the new tank going where the old tank is or can they both be set up and running at the same time? This will allow for more time for scaping and less transfer stress to the inhabitants. I have moved dozens of fish many times with no loss. (Even from VA to TX!) I have not tried moving corals yet though.
  10. Why are you selling? Just curious b/c I have been considering adding a wrasse to my reef.
  11. Yeah, all I had before Karen was fish and live rock. I had just purchased a new stand, canopy and lights from River City and was finally ready... I will get with you next week when I get back...
  12. You will never regret adding a fuge or sump. it will only serve to increase your overall volume, it will allow you more filter options and it will greatly improve your stability.
  13. Yeah, you can and I had my 55 gallon set up like that for several years as a fowlr. The hang on overflow will make your tank need more clearance from the wall but everything runs behind the tank and doesn't look too bad. I still have the hang on overflow you can have. Once I finally drilled my large tank though, There was no going back. It is not much of a trick to drill a tank but obviously it needs to be empty...
  14. Karen, you got me started stocking my tank, btw that candy cane is looking great! I have some bright green zoos you can have for free. My green zoos grow like crazy. They are the fastest growing thing in my tank and they add some nice color. I can give you some zenia also, they are fast growing and pale pink but they sway with the flow which looks cool. Let me know if you are interested. This weekend is not good but perhaps some time next week or weekend.

    Want to sell

That sounds good. Can you get me the details? Either a call or email might be better than here. 512-673-6633 direct line or email [email protected]. Thanks, Sean :-)
  16. I kept one in a 120g fowlr for three years and never saw him/her puff up. He/she lived with some triggers, a large wrasse and a huge lion. He/she had the most personality, especially around feeding time! you will love it.

    Want to sell

Sorry, I have been swamped at the office since we are so shorthanded. I have been putting in long hours and I was told @ 5am today that I was going to be the only one in the office today to work the phones and the front desk and checkout! None of those are my job and I have a couple projects going on that require my attention too! I forgot to get backto you and I am sorry. Are they still available? Thanks, Sean Warfield :-) 512-673-6633

    Live Sand

Great, I will check my messages and get back to you first thing tomorrow.

    Live Sand

Yeah, I could really use it. Let me know.
  23. To solve my nightly ph swing, I burn the main lights 12hrs and fuge lights 12 hrs. That way I have photosynthesis happening somewhere all the time and it has stabilized the tank more than anything else I have tried. My inhabitants are now happy and growing and healthy and that candy cane is almost glowing like a nuclear reactor! :-)
  24. Karen, I was told by xcreonx (the owner of the current featured tank) to get a cheap light from Home Depot and to cycle it opposite my main tank lights. The cheap spotlight is making the cheato grow like crazy and having the lights cycle opposite each other has stabilized my nightly ph swings.
