I know it's a long shot but, here we go. I'm looking for a temp probe for an AC Jr. Please let me know if you've got one laying around.

Well, I guess you'll have to wait until October for the next one.
Just a heads up. Y'all folks in Austin have some really awesome coral that a lot of folks here in SA don't. Just hinting thy different markets could bring a bit more premium price! I'm sure you may even find some stuff down south that ya like!

This is how I did mine. No cavitation in the pump and no noise.

I'm in for this one. I think that we'll have around a dozen folks bringing frag tanks. Can't comment on the number of sponsors attending just yet though.

Thanks for that link! I also posted it on MAAST. This firmly pushes me to go back to school for a phd in marine biology.

Maybe 4 months. I let it grow out about an inch on the side glass and cut it back with a kent scraper blade. Super easy to trim. Just cut it before it gets to your overflow teeth! Lol. I learned the hard way.
I should add that I started with a piece that was nearly 6"X8", though.

Hey Chris, what was the name of that sand you had the other day? I can't for the life of me remember!

I've been curious as well. Did you ever find the Lil guy?

I'm down. I think we should start with a 6 month time then allow the contest to continue after judging. It'll narrow the field and test the hardy!

I doubt the calcium had anything to do with it. It may have been hurt during transport.

Do you plan to add another Sol to it? It looks good but the dark corners would bother me.

As much as I respect your wisdom and experience. The question wasn't "should I run a skimmer". I have three tanks. 2 of them are without skimmers. That is an entirely different debate. I'm simply curious as to whether the skimmate is worth using or is there too much unusable waste to worry about.
Tim, I haven't had a chance to read the links yet. I'm at work and limited on time allowed to peruse these articles. I will, however, read them extensively when I get free time at lunch.
