I'll need to hook up with you in the future on those candy apple reds. I thought if had some but my wife told me I bought more candy apple greens. Ugh. I hate being color blind!

LOL! Don't try this at home kids!To add my own cheap trick.
I like to use the $6 bar clamps from harbor freight to hold my tank together.

"It's ok. I'm a professional".
Besides, it's only 185 gallons. Should be fine.

Thanks for the help, Roy. It's really shaping up to be the biggest swap we've ever done.

TTT.
I just wanna make sure everyone knows
-Ben-

Yes. Jason will be there selling and also doing a short presentation.
-Ben-

We will also have a speech by Jason Fox regarding coral propagation techniques.

I also use Reef Crystals. I've been happy with it. I switched to Aquavitro and wound up with cyano outbreaks. Once I ran through that bucket, I went back to Reef Crystals. Never looked back.

I thought I'd provide a list of some of our more prolific sellers/vendors who will be in attendance.
- High Def Corals
- Sherita
- Rift to Reef
- Elegant Reef
- Jam Corals
- Jason Fox Signature Corals
This is in addition to many of our wonderful local growers!
This will be a chance to get your hands on some primo pieces without the shipping charges.

Bump.
We've got over 100 RSVPs and over a dozen sellers/vendors. This location we will be at is only about 45-60 minutes from downtown Austin. Don't miss a great swap!!

Charter members of MAAST and spouse are free
Web members are $10 + $5 for spouse.
Children under 16 are free.
This includes food catered by Snogas BBQ.
Festivities will commence at 1:00pm until 4:00pm
Doors will open for sellers to set up as early as 9:00am
This will be catered and food will be available.
We had a really large turnout last year for this frag swap and we expect to have an even larger turnout for this one. We have some vendors from out of town and even out of state!!
So get your fragging on and let's start getting some stuff ready for it! Remember, the sooner you frag the longer your frags can heal. Well healed frags sell much better than fresh cuts!
Attention sellers. You will need to bring your tanks, power cords, water and lights for this event. We may be able to find folks that have a full table that can share. Please let me know so I can plan this accordingly.
Seller fees are as follows:
MAAST Sponsors and MAAST charter members sell free!!
Web member sellers - $5
Non sponsor businesses - $50 table fee
Here's a link to a great post about preparedness.

PLEASE R.S.V.P. ON THIS THREAD.
I will update this thread as more details and folks RSVP. Also include any guests coming with you please.
Sellers, please get with me so I know how many sellers to accommodate.
This will be a great chance to spread the love of variety!
Happy reefing!

I know it's a long shot but, here we go. I'm looking for a temp probe for an AC Jr. Please let me know if you've got one laying around.

Well, I guess you'll have to wait until October for the next one.
Just a heads up. Y'all folks in Austin have some really awesome coral that a lot of folks here in SA don't. Just hinting thy different markets could bring a bit more premium price! I'm sure you may even find some stuff down south that ya like!

This is how I did mine. No cavitation in the pump and no noise.
