I usually just use my finger nail and wedge them off. Another good way is to put something flat next to them and then shade them. They will craw on to the flat peace if it has more light.
tank up and running, thanks for all the support guys! Was fun.

While we are doing coral p0rn here is my main reef
I need some dwarf sea horses for this guy, any successful breeders out there?
yeah, not too worried about pH swings as this isn't going to be a reef. I am more interested in having a macro grow zone for pods etc that will be predator free. And the whole idea of this tank is that its going to be low maintenance. So all in one box/area and sealed for low noise and evaporation.
if you are wondering why I made the back wall clear, its because the center camber is going to be a fuge with rock and macro. And I want to be able to see it and not setup a separate light for it.
I think this could be a good candidate for a frag tank. its equal to a 100w Halogen, nice par values and you could put the thing right next to the water. I wonder if you could replace the LED's on this with bluer ones. E.G. just use the nice electronics.
if you are going to do sps, or any corals that grow up and out. I would leave a little head room. Right now you don't have much grow up space. It will look good for the first 6m but after your corals start kicking up some serious growth you might wish you had more room. Points about flow dead spots also valid.

caught him while casting for bait fish.
Well I caught a sea horse and have him in a LAME tank right now so I am making one just for him and a few pipe fish. Check it out
