  1. Coming back into town. Still have one available. Pick up will be in South Austin around Brodie and Wm. Cannon. In town Friday evening until Sunday afternoon.
  2. Extremely deep red coloration. Each clone is 3-4" and are $100.00 each. 2 are available and if there is interest I can deliver to Austin on Friday night. I will be coming from Arlington and will want FOR SURE buyers before committing the packaging and delivery of the nems. Here is a picture that shows the dull coloration (j/k)
  3. DANG! That seems pretty high but I guess if thats the going rate....SHEESH!!! Im getting Tropic Marin Pro mixed with RODI for only .95 per gallon up here in Arlington. I dont think there is a store around here that is offering it at more than $1.00 per gallon. I may have to break down and buy an RODI unit or something. PS- I only use Tropic Marin Pro or the new Red Sea salt mixes. The Tropic Marin is available in a 300 gallon bag that is fairly priced up here.
  4. Also, I dont know if anybody would be interested in possibly assisting with the move but I have a need that needs to be met somehow. That need is that maybe someone could set aside a small quarantine tank just in case something goes wrong. I'm not so much worried about the corals and inverts but I will be bringing my Regal Tang, Naso Tang,Marine Betta, Lawnmower Blenny, Mandarin Goby, and possibly a Gold band maroon clown. I will be thoroughly prepared and would appreciate any possible help.
  5. My family will be moving to the Austin area coming up and we are planning the reefs move. The tank is a 75 gallon with a 30 gallon sump. I plan to bring at least 50-60 gallons of tank water with us. Where would I find the BEST and safest RODI premixed salt water? Where do YOU trust? Why? When I lived there before I had only gotten started in saltwater aquaria and don't know the GOOD spots. happy3.gif Thanks!
  6. Hey folks, I have a nice black reef ready (drilled w/ bulkhead) aquarium for sale. Also included will be a 130 watt dual bulb satellite fixture that is black as well as 2 spare bulbs. This light is PLENTY of light to keep ANY kind of coral in this tank that you want. Also available for use with this tank is a hang on back refugium for an additional $50.00 (normally a couple hundred) I am located in Arlington, TX but can send back to Austin with a friend on the weekend of the 29th.
  7. I personally dont own a room divider but have set a few up and maintained even more. The main obsticle isn't really even an obstacle. You will need to drill your tank on the end(unless your tank is pre-drilled in the bottom) instead of the common location on the back of the tank. Basically you will have three viewable sides with either the closed end housing plumbing or the plumbing can run through the stand if pre drilled on the bottom. Hope this helps. Kris
  8. figured Id come back real quick to post some pics.
  9. Hey there folks. I just wanted to introduce myself, as my family will be moving back to the Austin area in roughly 6 months. We will be coming by way of Arlington, TX. I currently have running a 75 gallon mixed reef with a 30 gallon sump/refugium filled with caulerpa, a Remora Pro skimmer and 440watts of VHO powered by an IceCap 660. I keep softies, some LPS and two Sherman RBTA's. I basically grew up in Austin (south side Bubba here!) as did my wife. Anywho...just wanted to say hello and let you guys and gals know that I plan on posting often. blob7.gif *EDIT*- When we come I will be looking for a LFS position if anyone knows of one that needs some experienced help. I have 17 years freshwater experience and about 6.5 years saltwater FOWLR and reef experience. I have owned my own maint. service and have managerial experience.
